Going Backwards

So we have not gotten any better on sleeping - Lucas is back to getting up 2 or 3 times a night and is having a tough time sleeping in the day time. I am supposed to go with the flow and not get stressed out about it. However if you know me at all you know how much I LOVE and NEED my sleep so I am getting frustrated!!!

Good things are happening in the midst of all my frustration though.

He is getting better at sitting up - a couple of seconds before the nose dive.

Rolling over still from tummy to back not yet from his back to tummy.

Lots of giggles the last couple of days. He laughs at faces and funny sounds. It takes a lot of effort to get a laugh out of him but it is so worth it.

He is talking a lot as well which makes me laugh, he had a phone converstation with Peter the other day.

I already like chicken!! Are you proud Opa?

Standing up with no clothes on is so much fun!!

All in all it has been a frustrating couple of days but he is still a cute little guy and I love to have cuddles from him.

Here's hoping the sleep issue works itself out before he starts teething and the sleep gets worse!!!
